Dewar's / (Coat of Arms) / Scotch / Whisky. Base Mark: Polished Pontil. Spirits Whisky/Whiskey Fancy flared out pouring lip to two sides. Cut glass designs throughout. Acid etched writing which has been gilt. Black highlight around this. Clear. 1 Quart. 215 mm without stopper. 1900s
Very Good. Some grime. Some inner contents residue staining. Tiny nick at base edge. Just one or two scratches. The gilt design has worn a fair bit revealing a large amount of the acid etching underneath. The black highlight is mostly solid, but some of this is missing as well. Original stopper has a shallow chip to the bottom of it. A lovely whisky decanter, this would look superb on a bar - filled with Scotch! Grade: 7.9 Estimate: $75 - 100
