Newtone Pottery, Sydney vase. Pottery Australian Small vase with streaky brown glaze. 91 mm. 1930s
Very Good. Made by Bakewell's Pottery in Erskineville, Sydney around 1935-1940. Fine crack can be felt on one side down from the lip, this is a little discoloured and does not travel too far. Heavily crazed internally. Tiny glaze pop to lip. Remnants of texta mark externally. One or two glaze scratches. Nice piece of early pottery. Grade: 7.7 Estimate: $50 - 75
