Good. The all important face of this lid is good, the gold border is still mostly intact. At the top you can just see a chip from the face, under the rim this is about 19 x 5 mm. Similarly at the bottom of the lid a chip can just be seen at the face, under the rim this one is about 15 x 5 mm. Near this there is a flange chip which is quite large over about 27 x 14 mm. 5 more small flakes can be found around the lower outer, under and inner edges of the flange. Some crazing, including a little that is slightly discoloured. Some scratches, one near the H of Tooth is a bit deeper than standard. The face of lid is lovely, the detailed trade mark and the gold band really set this off as a great piece. With a little work, this will be a great display item. This lid does not come with a base.
