Three lids: 1. Searcy's Oriental Salt / Trade / (Snake in shape of S) / Mark. 2. Boots / Cash / Chemists. 3. Golden Eye / (Eye) / Ointment. Pot Lid Miscellaneous 1. Domed pot cap, white with faded black print. 2. Lid from ointment Jar. 3. Pot lid, white with black print. Various. 1900s
1. Very Good. Looks ordinary due to rusty crazing throughout, but this has no damage. Some rust. A little wear to the ribs on the edge of the cap. Some nibbles to the bottom of the flange. 2. Good. Discoloured crazing throughout. Stained. A chip has been repaired on the underside of the lid which can just be seen from the top. A few marks to the face from making in the form of lumps with little flakes next to them. 3. Good. Hairline across the lid, this is more easily visible from underneath. Dark chip to bottom of flange with two little flakes next to it. Discoloured crazing. This lid is grey, quite a nice overall and even effect which looks like it was made this way, however, I would suggest that it was not in fact made this way. Grade: N/A Estimate: $30 - 40
