Cold / Cream. Pot Lid Cold Cream Large flat round lid. All white with black print. Floral pattern border with flower in the middle. 79 mm diameter. 1860s
Excellent. A large size, flat lid. On the left side there are a couple of blue underglaze spots right on the rim. In from this amongst the floral border is another spot or two of blue, but this time the surface is a bit rough and there is some glaze flaking in this spot. Very hard to even see as it is amongst the flowers. The inner flange has a small flake. Some crazing and the odd surface scratch. One or two discoloured spots to flange. This comes with a base which looks incorrect, but fits. The base has a fine hairline around it and some discolouration. Grading for lid only Grade: 8 Estimate: $30 - 40
