Excellent. A lovely and rare item. A bit of tarnish. Great detail. European silver mark - "GES" means gesetzlich, used in Austria and Germany to note copyright protected design, the 800 is the purity of silver (so 80%). The hallmarks are upside down. Not sure why Atkinson would use a German manufacturer, when he was surrounded by silversmiths in London. Weighs 29 gm. An amazing item for collectors of Bears Grease Pot Lids. Grade: N/A Estimate: $1000 - 1500
