Three fruit jar lids: 1. Immerser, registered patent 1893. 2. Cozens & Harvey Patent. 3. J. H. Brough & Co Liverpool. Household Jar Set of lids for jars. Various. 1900s
1. Repaired. Broken through the stem and reglued. Still works perfectly and will be a good option to complete one of your immerser fruit jars. The insert on this has a 64 mm diameter, the upper lid outer diameter is 86 mm. The diameter of the "seat" under the rim is about 75 mm. 2. Good. From one of the lugs is a long sliver chip. Little chip to other lug. Some nibbled to outer seam. Crudely made. 3. Very Good. Small chip to outer rim. Little flake or two. Outer diameter is 90 mm, diameter of protruding lower part is about 70 mm, so this is not for one of their standard salt jars, more for a wide neck jar. Grade: N/A Estimate: $30 - 40
