Good. The handle has been broken off of this example. To the left rear is a hairline from just under the tan shoulder to down near the base, this covers approximately 180 mm. Some very minor lip wear in a couple of small spots. Scuffed scratch to glaze above trade mark. A few other minor glaze scratches. One or two small pottery blowouts. Dint to left lower body from making. Some discolouration in places. Lovely speckled glaze, a nice piece, one of very few demijohns which are both impressed and ink stamped. Grade: 6 Estimate: $100 - 150
