Very Good. Not sure on the age of the piece itself, they are not usually so predominantly base marked and it is highly glazed under the base as well. May be from later towards the mid 1900s? This is a very heavy piece too! Looks like in the course of decorating this piece, they have painted over a little lip flake. No other damage can be seen, but keep in mind the paint used is quite thick and would disguise any potential damage underneath. The scene which has been painted on is likely from a later period, although the age of this is not able to be determined. A lovely typically Chinese scene, it is quite well done. There is a flake through this paint on one side. What more could you want, a Chinese piece with Chiness writing on it and a painted Chinese piece of art! Grade: 7.7 Estimate: $30 - 40
