Large Chinese Ginger Jar. Blue and White Scenes and patterns. Chinese Stoneware Large Blue & White Ginger Jar. 154 mm. 19th Century
Excellent. On one side of the top is a hairline and an area with a spiderweb of little hairlines. These range from 20 - 35 mm. There are a few patches of stain. Some clay pull type marks under the base edge. At least part of this jar has been painted with gold paint as some tiny spots remain on and near the base. A lovely piece of Australian found Chinese pottery. Grade: 8 Estimate: $80 - 120
