Pair Crown Seals: 1. The Adelaide Brewery Ltd / (around base) This bottle is the property of the Adelaide Brewery Ltd Mitcham S.A. Base: A 714 / Modern AGM Monogram / A / A.B / (impressed) 1937 (South Australia). 2. F. W. Adams / Broken Hill / (around base) This bottle is the property of F. W. Adams Broken Hill. Base: a lot of little impressed stamps like the date stamps have been left etched in the mould. (New South Wales) Beer Crown Seal Champagne shape. Seam through lip. Amber. 26 oz. 296 & 289 mm. 1930s-1940s
1. Very Good. There is a 6 x 4 mm chip to the front lip. Dullness to most of the bottle but mainly the lower half. Scratches and scuffs all over. The embossing around the base is very difficult to read. (7.0). 2. Very Good. Solid enough bottle with a bit of internal dirt or haze. The whole surface however shows extensive "crate rub" with the lettering even appearing white against the surface because of wear. Around the lip, lower shoulder and base are the most obvious areas that show this wear. (7.0). Grade: N/A Estimate: $40 - 50
