Pair of Rowlands codd botles: 1. 7 ounce Hills patent with Farmer and Miner trade mark. 2. 7 ounce Rowlands, Ballarat, Melbourne, Katoomba and Sydney. (Victoria) Aerated Water Codd 1. Applied top. Three way pour "Hills" patent with three triangle indentations. Aqua. 7 oz. 2. Applied top, tooled finish. Four way pour Dobson style patent with four dimples. Aqua. 7 oz. 1. 195 mm. 2. 201 mm.. 1890s-1910s
1. Very Good. Polished. Remains of scuffs and scratches throughout. Small flake to upper part of trade mark. Couple of discoloured fisheyes towards the base. Some nibbles and high point wear to the embossing. Quite a decent example. 2. Very Good. Polished. A little odd, this is a later 1910s version (1913 under base) yet has MGBCo around the heel. Some fine chips and flakes to inner lip. Oiled internally. Fractured bruise to rear shoulder. Scuffs, scratches and impacts scattered around. Still dull. Grade: N/A Estimate: $50 - 75
