Lot 607: Amethyst Lightning Fruit Jar

Very Good. A great looking Aussie made jar in this natural deep amethyst colour. This has no lid, but has some neck wire which is rusty. 10 mm outer chip to front lip has had something put in it which is a yellow colour. Small flake to left upper seam on lip. Little flake to front upper lip has a fracture along the upper lip over about 30 mm, this does angle down to the inner lip over about 3 mm. Small bruise to rear lip. A thin chip along this on upper lip. Some surface dirt and grime, mainly internally, but some to the outside. This looks like most of it will clean off. Some usage wear under base. Little surface flake to lower front neck. A few scuffs and scratches. Lovely piece, with a good clean and a lid in place, this will be pride of place in any Lightning collection.
