Very Good. Known as the Prehistoric Lion example, the lion on this is one ugly beast indeed. 23 x 12 mm chip to inner lip. Impact flake to opposite outer lip has a fine hairline running through it along the upper lip. 10 x 5 mm chip to upper part of the spigot. Front left base edge has a hairline over about 40 mm. Some rust stain in patches down right. A bit of glaze wear to be found and glaze scratches. Some making marks. A great and rare demijohn. Grade: 7.1 Estimate: $250 - 300
