Very Good. Actually this one will come up better. At the front is a dark hairline. It doesn't or barely catches a nail over nearly its whole 170 mm length. Near the lower end of it is an oval impact mark of 10 x 3 mm that has caused the hairline and this mark is darker and depressed into the demijohn by a fraction of a millimetre. At the front base edge is an 18 x 13 mm chip. Around the neck and lower top is some wear and scratching from what is the original metal carry handle. There are some spots of paint, discolouration and light wear around the body. Original fancy metal tap and cork. A superb demijohn, one of Australia's best. Grade: 7.7 Estimate: $12500 - 15000
