Very Good. This is a monster, as featured in Willy van den Bossche's book, Plate 147, this is a large snuff tobacco bottle. The pewter cap screws off, the insert pulls out to reveal the upper lip which has no damage, just some grime. Some stain inside, this may be residue stain? A few small burst bubbles. Some scratches externally, a few of these are a little deeper than standard. Crudely made, this has a rough texture to the lower third from making. Fair bit of usage wear under the base. A HUGE bottle, this is one impressive piece of black glass. We have gussed 1 gallon, it may be more? Grade: 7.7 Estimate: $1000 - 1250
