Pair of Codds: O'Neill Bros., North Fitzroy (Caledonian Bottle Works); H. Taylor, Melbourne (Zinola Registered 1898 on back). Aerated Water Codd Both Dobson. Applied tops. Aqua. 10 oz. 237 mm & 244 mm. 1890s-1900s
Both are dull throughout with stain. O'Neill has a burst bubble and a few little marks around the base. Crude orange peel effect to parts of the surface from manufacture. Taylor has a few deeper scratches and heavier staining. Strong embossing though. A couple of solid Melbourne marble bottles, well worth a good clean up. Grade: N/A Estimate: $40 - 50
