Lithgow pottery crock. Pottery Australian Two tone, tan top, off white body. Impressed. 1 Gallon. 207 mm. 1890s
Good. A few minor nicks to the glaze on the inner lip. This crock is near perfect down to about half way, then things change. In reasonably large patches around the lower half of the crock, the glaze has flaked in patches, in some cases the patches are reasonably large areas made up of numerous little glaze flakes. A couple of rust spots. Plenty of crazing throughout, one or two of these lines are a bit heavier like minor hairlines. Grade: 6 Estimate: $40 - 60
