Excellent. The glass itself is pretty much mint. This is an early and heavy piece which would have been a barbers sterilizer. The aluminium lid would have had a shaft going to near the base which would have had a bowl in which combs and the like would have sat. When the lid was lifted, the bowl was attached and would allow the combs to also be lifted. The shaft on this one is broken. Rare enough pieces in their own right, this amber colour is quite desirable. Quite early too, probably 1930s or so. Grade: 8 Estimate: $150 - 175
