Excellent. A superb piece of early pottery. The N in patent is reversed. Some possible minor wear to upper lip, this may be from making? Kiln kiss to front shoulder from making. Spot of surface rust to rear. Couple of little glaze flakes to right near base, the left side also has a couple. 22 x 15 mm flake under rear base, this is very shallow. Extremely well struck. A wonderful glaze to this example, these are quite hard to get pieces of early Aussie pottery. Grade: 8.2 Estimate: $600 - 700
