Rare Tatum's Revolving Double Snail Inkwell. One of the glass inkwells has Tatum / Cinti on it. The cast iron stand has Tatum's Revolving under it. Ink Glass Cast iron Tatum's Revolving stand. Contains two shail inkwell made of glass that revolve in such a way that no ink would spill at any stage. Stand is about 98 mm high. 1900s
Very Good. Cast Iron stand looks like it has had a black coating applied. A couple of spots of rust showing through. The embossed snail has some grime inside. There is a really fine fracture from the left lug up about 40 mm to the top ridge. 10 mm fracture on other side of ridge to the body. Some inner stain. The ground lip has some making flakes. The other snail is a little hazy internally with a few making flakes to the ground lip. A great and rare inkwell. Grade: N/A Estimate: $250 - 300
