Rare advertising inkwell: Hanover Fire Ins Co. Makers Mark: Brower Bros, Mfg Stationers , 295 Broadway, N.Y., Pat'd 1875. Ink Glass Cast iron inkwell stand advertising Hanover Fire Ins Co. The two glass inkwells have original marked caps as well. Also comes with a fountain pen. Stand is 260 mm across.. 1870s
Very Good. The base has been cleaned but is in really good condition, the same is the case for the caps to the inkwells. One inkwell has a chip near the base with a crack coming up to the top and across to the well. Also has a couple of base flakes. The other well has a 30 mm crack up one side, also has some chips and flakes around the shapr base edge. A wonderful and rare piece of advertising. Grade: N/A Estimate: $350 - 400
