Monster sized goldfields salad oil shaped like a club. No base mark. Goldfields Salad Oil Applied top. Three mid neck rings. Three lower neck rings. Ten petalled lobes down shoulder. Plain label space to tapered body. Ten patteled lobes to base region. Aqua. 26 oz. 373 mm. 1850s
Good. Polished. 17 x 5 mm dark mark below applied lip. Not sure if this is an inclusion from making or a discoloured crack? Either way, it is noticeable. Couple of side by side surface bubbles to body. Remains of some stain internally, including some minor etching. Remains of scratches externally, including some deeper ones to the petals around the lower region. A monster of a bottle, this is extremely rare in this HUGE size. Grade: 6.5 Estimate: $1000 - 1500
