Pair of SA Ginger Beers: Appelt, Nurioopta (misspelled Nuriootpa) & Victor Harbour Mineral Waters & Cordial Factory (actually also managed by W. Appelt). Ginger Beer Cork Stoppered Various 167 mm & 160 mm. 1910s-1920s
Tan top Appelts is Good but has discoloured hairlines all around the base. Some stain and discolouration. Fine crazing around the top. The odd smaller chip and nibble to be found. The Blue lip Victor Harbour is Very Good although with a "dirty" appearance to the glaze. Needs a good soaking clean. A couple of nibbles to the lip, some marks to the shoulder and a small chip or two around the base edge. A nice ginger beer in general. Grade: N/A Estimate: $70 - 100
