3 Marchants Bottles: 1. Marchant & Co / Trade (Wagon Wheel) Mark / Australia. Base: BGW. and Pair of Marchants Bottles: Lamont and a 10 oz Internal Thread. Aerated Water Various 1. Applied top. Zapped Bluey-amethyst. 26 oz 2 & 3 various. Various. 1890s-1900s
1. Very Good. The bottle is an unnatural zapped colour. It is however a harder to get variety with the Botany Glass Works base mark. A few fleabites around the lip. Some scratches and scuffs to the body, a few fisheyes to be found. Nice, extra large embossing. Probably worth trying to get changed back to its proper aqua colour. (7.8). 2. & 3. Lamont is Fair. Has a deep 10 x 4 mm chip to the front lip. 18 x 10 mm bruise and fracture to the back neck. Nibbled flake to rear upper body. Inside is dull and stained. Outside has been polished but still has some scratches and other marks. Internal Thread is Fair-Good. Has a wide burst bubble near the front base, another under the front base. Flake chip to base edge. Impacts and pit marks around the surface. Dull inside and scratched and scuffed to the surface. Grade: N/A Estimate: $50 - 70
