"Give us this day, our daily bread". No potters stamp. Has been attributed to Lithgow pottery. Stoneware Bread Plate Interesting deep shape. Very dark Rockingham type glaze. 338 mm long. 1890s
Very Good. Fine scratches to the bowl section, has seen a lot of use. Kiln mark in there as well. Fine crazing throughout. The feet at one end have a chip each (15 x 5 mm and 9 x 4 mm). The feet at the other end mostly just show some wear with a very shallow chip possibly to one. A really interesting bread plate, undoubtedly made by an Australian pottery, better judges than us have attributed this plate to the Lithgow Pottery. Grade: 7.9 Estimate: $100 - 150
