W. H. T. Yarrow / (Sheep) / Hughenden. Base Mark: Rylands / Barnsley. Aerated Water Crown Seal Applied top with offset seam through lip. Aqua. 13 oz. 231 mm. 1910s
Excellent. Some cobwebs internally that will clean out. Little impact mark to right rear upper body. Small one to same area but lower down near the base. Tiny little surface flake to mid rear body. A few little nicks, nibbles around the base and under the base. One or two fine fisheyes as well. The embossed writing is exceptionally heavy, most of the letters have some little nibbles or flakes. The sheep itself has no marks, the wool is clearly defined as is the grass that it is standing on. Some scratches, including a section to rear shoulder with a little flake amongst it. Has all the original whittle and swirls to the glass surface, this is not a hugely rare bottle, but they are invariably polished, unlike this example. Grade: 8 Estimate: $150 - 200
