Pair of Fruit Preserving Jars: 1. S / N H. No base mark. 2. Niagara. No base mark. Household Jar Various Various. 1900s-1910s
1. Very Good. Wire is rusty. Some light haze and inner dirt. Light scratches to be found. Tiny impact flake to rear base. Tiny impact mark over airbubble to front. 2. Good. Flakes around upper and inner lip. Looks to have been cleaned many times over the years, there is inner scratching behind the embossing all the way around. This is reasonably light. There is some haze throughout as well. 7 x 4 mm fracture to front left shoulder which is extremely hard to detect. Below this is an inclusion that has a tiny 4 x 1 mm fracture associated with it as well. Has probably been oiled internally at some stage. Scarce Australian fruit jar. Grade: N/A Estimate: $30 - 40
