Pair of Small Goldfields Salad Oils: 1. Goldfields narrow banded salad oil. No base mark. 2. Shark Tooth Salad Oil. No base mark. Goldfields Salad Oil Various Various. 1860s-1870s
1. Good. 9 x 16 mm chip to side lip appears to have been glued back into place. Scuffs, scratches and patches of haze throughout. 2. Very Good. 4 mm fracture below lip, may be an annealing mark of some sort. Little base edge flake. Some nibbling to inner rim of underside base, maybe remnants of a pontil? Stained throughout with scuffs and scratches. Grade: N/A Estimate: $40 - 50
