Three Goldfields Pickles: 1. Square goldfields pickle with recessed oval panels. No base mark. 2. Liver Bird Pickle. No base mark. 3. Long neck pickle with two neck rings. No base mark. Goldfields Pickle Various Various. 1860s
1. Very Good. Fisheye or two to upper lip. 10 x 8 mm deep burst bubble under the base has flaking around it over 25 x 10 mm. Small open bubble near shoulder. 5 x 2 mm impact mark to one panel. 8 x 5 mm flake to base corner. Stained with some scuffs and scratches. Scarce form. 2. Excellent. Tiny impact to upper lip. Tiny flake to base edge. Some scratches. Some inner base dirt. Very detailed trade mark, this is a great example that would be hard to better. 3. Good. 8 x 2 mm flake to one edge. 3 x 3 mm surface flake with an associated scratch to another corner edge. One bottom corner has a flake to it. Heavily stained with plenty of etching. Scuffs and scratches throughout. This has an unusually elnogated neck to it. Grade: N/A Estimate: $40 - 50
