Three small Goldfields Pickles: 1. Small Goldfields pickle with wreath design. No base mark. 2. Plain rolled lip small square pickle. Base mark: Pontil. 3. Tall thin square pickle. Base mark: Dot (Two Triangles meeting at the point) 8. Goldfields Pickle Various Various. 1850s-1880s
1. Fair. 60 mm crack from one corner up through the side of one of the wreaths. Polished. Oiled internally. Remains of some etching. Some scuffs and scratches. Actually displays quite well. 2. Very Good. Couple of tiny nicks to the lip. A couple of deep scuff marks to one side panel, impact mark lower down the same panel. Little flake to one corner edge. Quite heavy usage scratches under the base. Dull with scuffs and scratches scattered around. A few little impact marks. Great, early bottle with the rolled lip and crude pontil. 3. Very Good. Little impact flake to inner lip. Small impact mark to shoulder. Small section of little flakes and nibbles to one corner edge half way down. Etched staining throughout. Small open bubble. Some scratches and spots of rust stain. Unusual bottle. Grade: N/A Estimate: $50 - 70
