Pair of Goldfields Pickles: 1. Ten sided goldfields pickle with lobed neck. Base Mark: British Registration Diamond. 2. Goldfield ribbed pickle. Base Mark: 206. Goldfields Pickle Various Various. 1860s-1880s
1. Very Good. Oiled internally. Little impact bruise to shoulder. A few little open bubbles towards the base. Some scuffs and scratches. This has a grimy feel to it, needs a much better wash. Little nibbled flake to base edge of one corner. This glass design (Parcel No.11) was registered on the 28th of May 1880 by: Sykes, MacVay & Co., Castleford. 2. Very Good. Oiled internally. Fisheye to upper lip, another to base. Inclusion to rear neck with couple of short fractures. Small spot of surface crazing to front shoulder. Some fisheyes and impact marks. Stained throughout with a slightly etched feel. Scuffs and scratches scattered around. Grade: N/A Estimate: $30 - 40
