Free blown pigsnout gin. What appears to be a fired over pontil to base. Spirits Gin Dutch Case gin shape. Crude applied flat lip. Black. 26 oz. 238 mm. 1840s-1850s
Very Good. Great looking and early gin bottle. Extremely crude top that does have an 11 x 5 mm chip to one side. A few scuffs and scratches over the body. A 6 x 2 mm deeper scratch/impact near one base edge. Wonderful piece of early black glass. Grade: 7.85 Estimate: $20 - 30
