Very Good. Lid is discoloured and crazed. Discoloured glaze wear down one outer corner. Small flake to another corner. One of the long edges has four or five tiny flakes and one slightly larger flake (5 x 4 mm). The other long edge has a few tiny nibbles and a chip to the bottom, 7 x 2 mm. One short edge has a 20 x 6 mm hairline on both inner and outer flange, a few flakes in this section. The other short edge has a few minor marks and a short hairline. The matching base has wear to each of the four corners, with some nibbles and wear to the upper flange which sits under the lid. Crazed throughout and discoloured as well. We believe this is an extremely rare lid, it is certainly the first one we have seen. Grade: 7.4 Estimate: $400 - 500
