Crown on shoulder. British Registration Diamond to base. (Batty's Crown Salad Oil). Goldfields Salad Oil Very fancy patterned body and shoulder. Round applied top. Aqua. 26 oz. 354 mm. 1850s-1860s
Very Good. Polished. A couple of little fleabites to the lip. Base edge has a 9 x 14 mm smoothed over chip. Also around the base edge are some nibbles and deep wear points that were caused by the polishing machine. There is some internal etching still visible. An open bubble or two. Light scratches around the neck. Some other scratches and pit marks to be found. Great looking bottle and hard to get. Grade: 7.1 Estimate: $300 - 500
