Square Cathedral Peppersauce. Base mark: Large open pontil. Goldfields Pepper Sauce Applied top. Aqua. 7 oz. 219 mm. 1850s
Very Good. Oiled internally. Tiny nick to lower lip. Stained throughout with some light etching. Some scratches. 17 x 7 mm milky bruise next to pontil underneath, this is almost certinly a remnant from making with a few smaller similar marks to the pontil itself. Superb and early piece of glass. Grade: 7.5 Estimate: $50 - 75
