Very Good. Superb piece. Only has a couple of minor glaze scuffs and a few scratches. The underside of the pouring hole has a 20 x 10 mm chip, this blends in well and is not really noticeable when on display. Under the base is a three way hairline, each leg is 50 mm, 50 mm and then 30 mm. This is fine and wholly under the base. The tap and handle are original and in good condition. Rear shoulder edge has a little nibbled section, nearby is some minor glaze wear. Couple of little rust spots and a few other discoloured spots to be found. In the lower part of the top at the bottom of the thread is a wax or silicone seal of some sort with something under it. It is possible that the stopper broke off inside, not sure why the silicone has been applied over it though. We initially thought it may have been done to aid in repairing the top, however, we can assure you that this is the original top and that this piece is in superb condition.
