D McLeod / Kiewa impressed into lip. Demijohn Impressed Lip impressed, two tone, tan top, off white body. 1 gallon. 315 mm. 1890s
Good. It is difficult to tell how much, but there is a large lip repair over about 50 mm, which may well include some of the lettering. The D Mc and Kiewa letters all appear fine, the Leod looks to be at least in part, repaired due to this chip being in this area. The inner lip has some wear. The rest of the demijohn is in great nick with just a few scuffs and scratches to the glaze. Very rare north east Victorian demijohn! Grade: 6 Estimate: $50 - 75
