Chinese terracotta opium pot. Chinese/Japanese Opium Terracotta with five characters around the neck. 73 mm across. 1860s
Good. The upper lip has some shallow chips. Couple of flakes to the raised rib below the lip. The flared out lower rim has a couple of chips and a nibbled flaky section. Has a 60 mm crack across the bottom going either side of the hole, this also comes up about 25 mm up the side. Couple of spots of rust stain. Grade: 6.5 Estimate: $30 - 40
