Fair. Polished. Inner lip has an 18 x 4 mm bruised area from which a 17 mm fracture comes down from the lip at the rear. The left side lip has a dip where a chip has been polished out. Some inner haze. Remains of fisheyes and pitted impact marks throughout. Some of the embossing is quite poor, namely the shield around the trade mark. The rarer of the two types with the named Rowland's Patent to the shoulder, this is a good gap filler for the collection until a better one comes along, which won't be too soon.
