Ounce symbol viii / H. A. Rose & Co. / Est'd (Rose) 1858 / Dispensing Chemists / Sydney. Base: W. T. Co / G / U.S.A. Medicine Chemist "Phenix" shape. Tool finished lip. Clear. 8 oz. 175 mm. 1900s
Excellent. The inner half of the lip at the front does have a 10 x 5 mm bruise type mark although looking at the bubble pattern under it suggests this is a fold in the glass from manufacture. Some light milky haze inside. The odd surface scratch and scuff. A very shallow 4 x 2 mm scrape at the back base edge. Front right shoulder corner edge has a tiny nibble. Beautiful detailed embossing, one of the nicest pictorial chemist bottles around. Grade: 8.4 Estimate: $150 - 200
