No embossing - Goldfields oil known as a Pear Oil or Peanut Oil. Pontil to base. Goldfields Salad Oil Bulbous patterned and waisted body. Label space. Three rings around lower neck and mid-neck. Applied top. Aqua. 6 oz. 214 mm. 1850s
Very Good. A little dull and there is some baby oil inside. A few scratches and scuffs to the surface but generally pretty good. Annealing marks inside neck. Scrape mark to outer lip, may also be annealing marks. Nice little example, good shape and needs a better wash. Evidence of a round pontil to base. Grade: 7.85 Estimate: $100 - 150
