No embossing - mid size Goldfields Salad oil known as a Club Oil. Goldfields Salad Oil Bulbous patterned base, smooth middle and then similarly patterned shoulder. Three rings at lower neck and three rings mid-neck. Applied top. Aqua. 13 oz. 285 mm. 1850s-1860s
Very Good. The whole surface of the bottle is dull and stained. Top of the lip has a 2 x 1.5 mm flake. A little bit of etching to the surface of the glass with fine scratches throughout. Some very shallow flakes in a circular fashion under the base, possible remnants of a pontil? Solid bottle and hard to get. Grade: 7.3 Estimate: $150 - 200
