Syr. / Althae. Base Mark: Two arrows opposing each other. Chemist Glass label Applied, spun on top. Unusual stopper with long stem, stopper flares out to seal on the upper lip as opposed to the inner lip. Under glass label with black print on white label, gold, red and black border. Cobalt. 26 oz. 176 mm without stopper. 1890s
Excellent. Some possible very faint haze in spots. Some scratches, mainly to the rear. Label is quite good, there is a 20 mm crack to the glass over the label. Superb and unusual bottle. Flare lip because it is syrup, runs back in, stops jamming. Grade: 8.8 Estimate: $300 - 350
