2 Goldfields bottles: Free blown case gin and a black glass skittle. Black Glass Miscellaneous 1. 26 oz Black glass skittle, applied top. Raised dot to centre of base. 2. Approximately 30 oz Case gin, applied wrap top. Looks like a re-fired type base. 1. 272 mm. 2. 250 mm.. 1850s-1860s
Both are in solid condition. The skittle has a large shallow chipped area near the base on one side (29 x 25 mm). A bit dirty and scuffy as well but beautifully crude with a flattened type shape to one side from its rough manufacture. The gin is a beauty with lovely twisted neck and crude applied top. A bit dirty inside with a few light scuffs and scratches outside. Grade: N/A Estimate: $20 - 30
