S A Maas / Schiedam - on applied shoulder seal. No base mark. Spirits Gin Applied top. Tapered square case gin with wood mould lines down each side. Dark Olive Green with varying green swirls throughout. 12 oz. 192 mm. 1880s
Very Good. Crudely formed lip, there are a couple of fine lines on the outer lip which can be felt, a bit like a fine split. There does not appear to be any fractures. There is a large inner neck bubble which is at the surface. Some staining towards the inner base. A crude mark on a side panel from making. One edge has a chip from it half way down, 5 x 5 mm. Some external scratches and minor spots of rust stain. Grade: 7.7 Estimate: $50 - 75
