Near Mint. Outer lip is fine, the inner rim has some shallow flakes. Spots of paint residue to be found. The limestone filter that slots inside is in great condition, it has one chip to it. Water filters very rarely are found these days with the actual filter in place. The tap seems to be original, there is some rust marks on the pottery around this as if it has been in place for a long time. The lid is also in great nick. There is a small chip to the outside, with a larger horseshoe crack from this where another slightly larger chip may have been with the piece glued back in. Another flake to the outer edge, there is a shallow flake under the lid with an associated side flake which has been glazed over. There are some chips around the bottom edge that sits inside the filter. All in all, a superb water filter, these always have damage, so to find one in this great, original condition is a rarity indeed. Grade: 9 Estimate: $500 - 600
