Excellent. Polished. There are areas of the surface on the sides that are rough like etching that remain after the polish. Evidence of some scratches and marks. The embossing is very strong and the colour is sensational. It is possible that this has in fact, not been polished, rather coated in a lacquer of some sort, as there is a fibre of some sort adhered to the glass at the rear. Whatever the case, this is a wonderful display item for any ink collector. Grade: 8.1 Estimate: $200 - 250
