Excellent. Some chipping around the ground lip, above left seam line is one which is about 15 x 4 mm, around to the rear is a smaller 9 x 4 mm, near this is a bigger 20 x 5 mm chip to the outer ground lip, and then above the right seam line on the outer edge is a 12 x 4 mm flake chip. There are some other smaller ones as well. These chips are pretty standard for jar that has glass on glass like these jars do. The outer band around the neck has some light wear to the lower part of it. Some grime on the upper sides of the shoulder. 15 mm scratch to left shoulder, another light 20 mm scratch to left body. A few other light scuffs and scratches. Lid has some grime. One of the knobs to retain the wire on top of the lid has chipped, minor flakes and nibbles to inner rim of glass lid. A scarce Australian jar, these have a nice ornate lettering. Grade: 8.1 Estimate: $100 - 125
