Excellent. Brilliant example of an iconic Australian preserving jar. All around the ground lip are scattered small chips and a little bruise on the left side. Some minor scratches and marks around the body of the jar. Bubble to rear has a tiny fracture on one edge of it, common with many bottles of the era. Great colour and very strong embossing for one of these. Rusty wire and bail. Could be the centrepiece of any collection. Grade: 8.5 Estimate: $1200 - 1500
